The Allied Counties Youth League fixtures for the new season have been released, with Northwood's Under 18s now under the management of Jamie Barry.

The Woods youngsters actually start their campaign with an FA Youth Cup tie away to Wembley on Wednesday 14th August, and commence their defence of their Allied Countiestitle away to Hillingdon Borough a week later. Northwood's first game at The Skyline Roofing Stadium sees them take on Beaconsfield Town on Wednesday 28th August.

Northwood's new-look squad is still in development under new manager Scott Donnelly, and today they were defeated 0-4 by Burgess Hill Town in their only home pre-season friendly.

The West Sussex club are members of Isthmian League Division One South East, and they controlled the first half, leading by three goals at the break before adding one more near the end.

A ninth minute strike from Jordan Brown proved to be the only goal of Northwood's pre-season friendly this evening, as they won 1-0 at Harefield United.

Prince Mbengui and Harry Gallagher (penalty) scored in the first half to give Northwood a 2-0 victory in the second leg of their pre-season double header against Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division outfit Colney Heath this afternoon.

The Pitching-In Southern League fixtures for 2024-25 were released today, and Northwood start with a home fixture against Beaconsfield Town on Saturday 10th August, and we then travel to AFC Dunstable on Tuesday 13th August, before playing Aylesbury United at The Skyline Roofing Stadium on Saturday 24th August.

The Woods play at Kings Langley away and AFC Dunstable at home over the Christmas period, and wrap up the campaign with Kings Langley at home on Easter Monday and away to Barton Rovers the following Saturday. Check out the full fixture list or click the image above to enlarge.

We are delighted to announce that Skyline Roofing Company have renewed their stadium sponsorship with the club for the 2024-25 season.

The club and Steve Revell have a long association - he joined us as a player back in 1978 - and we're very grateful to him and the team at Skyline for their continued support.

We are also happy to announce new tenants to The Skyline Roofing Stadium for the upcoming campaign, as Hayes & Hillingdon FC become the Woods’ new groundshare partners. They compete at Step 7 in the Middlesex County League.

The Woods continued their warm-up friendly fixtures this evening, when they defeated Colney Heath of the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division 1-0 in a game which took place at Everett Rovers. Jordan Brown netted the only goal of the night on 67 minutes.

Northwood continued their pre-season friendly fixtures this afternoon when they won 2-1 against Hilltop of the Combined Counties League Premier Division North. The Woods' new boss Scott Donnelly continued to assess an array of trialists ahead of assembling his squad for the upcoming Southern League campaign in the game which was played at the Middlesex FA's headquarters at Rectory Park.

After Hilltop had taken a first half lead, the Woods hit back to win with headed goals from Manuchim Oke-William and Jemale McKenzie, and they also missed a penalty in the second period.

As the build-up to the new season continues, the draws for the early rounds of the Football Association competitions were released today - and in the Emirates FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round the Woods have been drawn at home to old rivals Ashford Town, on Saturday 3rd August. The winners will have a home tie versus Cobham or Uxbridge in the Preliminary Round two weeks later.

Northwood are drawn away in the First Qualifying Round of the Isuzu FA Trophy, travelling to new opponents in Herne Bay on Saturday 7th September.

And in the FA Youth Cup, Jamie Barry’s side are away to Wembley in an Extra Preliminary Round tie, the winners being at home to Kings Langley in the next round.

The Woods kick-off their pre-season friendly fixtures on Saturday, 6th July, when they play against Southall – last season’s Isthmian League rivals – at Burnham FC, with the game getting under way at 12 noon.

New boss Scott Donnelly’s men then play against Hilltop at Rectory Park, Northolt on Saturday 13th July, kick-off 4.00 pm. Subsequent games see Northwood play Colney Heath at Everett Rovers FC on Wednesday 17th July, then at Colney Heath the following Saturday.

They then play at Harefield United on Tuesday 23rd July, before the only home warm-up fixture - that is on Saturday 27th July against Burgess Hill Town, with the final fixture being at Oxhey Jets on Tuesday 30th July.

Then the FA Cup campaign gets underway on Saturday 3rd August, with the Southern League starting a week later. The Northwood fixture schedule is here.
