Ben Bukowski leaves Northwood

The club today announce the departure of Ben Bukowski. Ben joined the club in November 2021 as Head Coach and was an integral part of the management team that avoided relegation in 2022 and then did really well to reach the Isthmian League playoffs a year later.
Ben was named overall manager of the side last year in a season that had its ups and downs. Under his leadership, Northwood played 101 league games, winning 42, drawing 14 and losing 45 - giving a win rate of 35%. As the young manager leaves the Woods, we wish him well.

Northwood are overall Allied Counties League champions!!!

Northwood Under 18s are the overall Allied Counties Youth League champions after they won the Champions Cup final against Badshot Lea at Slough Town FC this evening!
The game went to penalties, after Badshot pulled back level, Londin Latifi having given Woods a two-goal lead within a few second half minutes. But although Badshot hit back to equalise, Northwood held their nerve in the penalty shoot-out, Jayden Williams scoring the clinching spot-kick.

Young Woods win through to Champions Cup final

Ryan Young’s Northwood Under 18s won through to the final of the Allied Counties Youth League Champions Cup with a 4-1 victory against Walton & Hersham at The Skyline Roofing Stadium this evening in the semi-final.
The competition is for the winners of the Allied Counties’ four divisions, and the young Woods progressed thanks to two goals apiece from Alex Grant and Londin Latifi, despite having just the bare eleven players due to unavailabilities.
The final will be against Badshot Lea at Slough Town FC next Tuesday, 21st May. The Woods youngsters have had a fine season, winning the title and getting to the League Cup final - and it's Northwood Under 18s' first title since the club won the Allied Counties in 2006 and 2008! Now they have the chance to add another trophy!

Under 18s lose 2-4 in Allied Counties League Cup Final

Three goals in the first fifteen minutes of this evening's Allied Counties Youth League Cup Final condemned the Woods Under 18s to defeat against West Division champions Badshot Lea at Ascot United's ground.
Badshot netted a fourth goal before half-time, leaving Northwood with a mountain to climb. The Woods did pull two goals back, defender Liam Osborne getting them both, heading home from a corner then he hit an incredible 35 yards effort into the top corner of the net. But Bashot Lea deservedly won the cup with a strong performance, well done to them!
Ryan Young’s Northwood side have already lifted the Allied Counties Youth League East Division title, and will play at home to Walton & Hersham in the Champions Cup semi-final next Wednesday – so despite tonight's defeat it's already a great season for the young Woods, with the prospect of more silverware!
