The Woods grabbed an early lead in this game with skipper Joe Reade again on target and although Bedfont came back into the game as the half progressed, it was still Northwood who led 1-0 at the break.
But the visitors were on level terms immediately after the restart with a 35-yarder and ten minutes later they were in front. An own goal increased the Sports lead after 66 minutes and just a minute later it was game over as the visitors added a fourth.
It had been a bad 20 minutes for the Woods but they did battle on and it was Oscar John that netted a late consolation.
