In a highly-entertaining contest, the Woods Under 18s came within a couple of minutes of toppling the league leaders who came into the match with a 100% record.

The visitors took the lead from the penalty spot early on but Northwood worked hard to get back into the game and were rewarded when top scorer Oscar John levelled just five minutes before the break.

Unfortunately, Sports hit back before half-time to lead 2-1.

The Woods were fired up when they came out for the second half and Will Robinson levelled again almost immediately.

Bedfont realised they were in for a real battle when Robinson broke through the defence to score again and put us 3-2 up after sixty five minutes and then it was backs to the wall as the defence was once again put under pressure.

Goalkeeper Christos Christofi made a number of fine saves but with just a minute to go of normal time, Sports managed to level things up and earn themselves a hard-fought point.
