Northwood’s hopes of a first ever Middlesex League title took a nosedive on Tuesday evening when they were beaten by Bedfont, who now look certain to take the title.

Woods can count themselves as unlucky as they were the better team for the most of the match, but Bedfont broke away to score the winning goal midway through the second-half.
