Otis scored on his Woods debut as substitute at Ware in August 2008. The teenager had been a youth player at Rochdale, playing reserve team football for that club the previous season, and also appeared for Bracknell Town at the start of 2008-09.

After netting nine times for Woods he was allowed to turn out for Bracknell, and then was transferred to Enfield Town in January 2009.
