Defender

Joining the Woods in August 1999, Paul was to have a huge impact in the club's progress over the next six years. He made the move from Southall Town, having previously played for Hayes and Harefield United, and made his debut in a home defeat against Ford United.

Things soon got better then and he played 44 games in that first season as the Woods won promotion from Division Two of the Isthmian League and also reached the Middlesex Senior Cup Final for the first-ever time. Watto suffered with his fair share of injuries over the years but there were none braver in defence and he was part of the squad that won the Isthmian League Cup in 2002 and then won the Division One North title the following season. Paul enjoyed one season in the Premier Division before hanging up his boots in 2004.
