Originally on the books at Watford as a youngster, Dave joined Northwood from Berkhamsted Town in September 1996.

His commanding presence meant that the 27-year-old was a valuable addition to the squad and, despite some injury problems, he enjoyed a successful spell.

Dave had previous experience at Dunstable, St Albans City, Hitchin Town and Hemel Hempstead, but soon stopped playing after leaving Chestnut Avenue.
