Simon was one of the many players brought to the club by ex-Manager John Walsh (no relation) from his previous club Hertford Town.

Simon made his debut in August 1994 and although he stayed with the club after his namesake's departure, injury problems and illness kept him out for long period.

He was last heard of turning out for Sudbury Court.
