Sam joined Woods on loan from Kings Langley in February 2018, and previously played for Luton Town Cedars. He made over 30 appearances for the Hertfordshire club.

He had a second loan spell in 2018-19, which came to an end when Sam was transfered from Kings Langley to Wingate & Finchley.
