Adamson was a direct, pacey winger who joined Northwood from Chalfont St Peter in February 2012 and scored on his debut. He had moved to Chalfont from Brook House in December 2010.

He moved to Arlesey Town in January 2013, and later moved to Australia where he played for several State League clubs including Albion Rovers, George Cross, Altona Magic, Altona City and Geelong SC.
