(November 2021 - date)

Director of Football Steve and Head Coach Ben were appointed in November 2021 when Northwood were bottom of the table - the side ended the season in mid-table and a year later were chasing promotion.

(May 2021 - November 2021)

Ben was unable to turn results around, and with a very low win percentage, achieved his best results in cup competitions.

(February 2020 - April 2021)

Rob's spell as Woods boss was seriously Covid-affected, resulting in him taking charge of just 14 matches in 14 months.

LEACOCK


(February 2020 - April 2021)

Jamie achieved some decent wins soon after his appointment, but parted company with the Woods following a record-breaking nine successive league and cup defeats.

DASH


(October 2018 - October 2019)

Scott took over as manager, initially as interim, in October 2018, before being confirmed in post. He left the club a year later following a difficult spell of results.

BARKER


(June 2018 - October 2018)

Dean brought a new-look squad to the club for 2018-19 and achieved some good results, but left the Woods at the end of October 2018.

LANE


(May 2017 - January 2018)

Simon had a few months in charge at Northwood, with a project to develop and bring through young players, but he soon decided that the role wasn't for him and moved on to Egham Town.

BURGESS


(November 2012 - May 2017)

Mark took up his first managerial post at Chestnut Avenue in November 2012, and also continued to play regularly. His team won the Middlesex Senior Cup in 2016, only the second Woods side to do so.

MEAKIN


(March 2011 - November 2012)

Gary, a former Northwood player, moved from Hillingdon Borough in March 2011, and produced a decent side playing good football but left to join Wingate.

HALE


(November 2010 - March 2011)

Former Woods striker Steve was appointed first team manager in November 2010, but left the club in March 2011 after a poor run of results.

BARNHAM


(March - November 2010)

Having previously been reserve manager, assistant manager and caretaker-manager, Mark stepped into the Woods' hot seat in March 2010, but stepped down in November that year.

(December 2008 - March 2010)

Former AFC Wimbledon boss Dave took the job as Woods manager in December 2008, but left the job the following season after budget cuts were imposed.

COLIN
PAYNE


(September 2005 - November 2008)

Colin was appointed Woods manager in September 2005. His first game was a Southern League Premier fixture at Yate, which was lost 0-1, the final one also a single-goal defeat, at Witham Town. His team won the Middlesex Senior Cup in 2006, the first ever to do so from Northwood.

HARVEY


(August 2004 - August 2005)

Mick's first game in charge was at Windsor & Eton (Isthmian League Premier -  lost 0-1), the last a 2-0 defeat at Grantham Town in the Southern League.

CHOULES


(November 1997 - May 2004)

Tony's first game was at Hendon in the Middlesex Senior Cup (Lost 1-3), and his final match in charge was at home to Billericay Town (Isthmian League) - Lost 4-5.

(January 1996 - October 1997)

The first game in charge for Steve was a 7-1 home win over Hornchurch, and the last one was at Hungerford Town (Isthmian League) - Won 3-1.

WALSH


(August 1994 - November 1995)

His first game as Woods manager was a 3-2 win at home to Canvey Island (Isthmian League), and the final one at Wingate & Finchley (Isthmian League) - Lost 0-2.

Full record in league games was: Played 53 Won 27 (51%) Drew 11 Lost 15 For 101 Against 63.

ALAN
MERISON


(August 1988 - May 1994)

Alan's first game in charge was at Southgate (Spartan League) - Won 3-2, and the last was against Staines at Harrow Borough in the 1994 Middlesex Charity Cup Final, which was lost 0-4. He later had two spells as Northwood Caretaker Manager. Alan sadly passed away in April 2014.

REVELL



(1987-88)

Steve took up the managerial reins at Northwood after John Powell moved on, but after a season in charge stood down due to pressure of work, though continued as a player.

POWELL



(March - May 1987)

John became player-manager following the departure of Pete Moran during the 86-87 season, and he was assisted by Steve Revell.

(Sept 1986 - Feb 1987)

Former Ruislip Manor, Harefield United and Bromley Park Rangers manager Pete, who had a spell at Woods three years earlier coaching under Pat Coburn, had about eighteen months in charge.

(July 1976 to May 1986)

Paddy's first game was a 1-1 draw at Rayners Lane in a Middlesex League game in August 1976, and he <guided Woods to two league titles, one runners-up, and four cup successes during his ten years in charge  Pat remains Northwood's longest-serving manager.

SAUNDERS



(April - June 1976)

Tony had just a short spell as caretaker Woods manager, but declined to apply for the full-time position.

MADIGAN



(July 1975 - March 1976)

Former Northwood player Pat started his Woods management career with a 7-3 win at North Greenford on the opening day. He resigned after the 1-1 draw with Bedfont in March.

BYRNE



(November 1974 - June 1975)

Paul took over mid-season as player-manager, taking Woods to their first ever Middlesex League Cup success which they gained by beating the all-conquering Yeading side.

MYERS



(August 1973 - November 1974)

He managed the Woods for a little over a season before resigning during November 1974.

BYRNE



(1971-73)

Pat was Northwood's first designated manager, guiding the side through their second and third Middlesex League seasons. He sadly passed away on 25 April 2020. RIP.
