After their exit from the FA Youth Cup, the Woods returned to winning form with a home games against Holmer Green.
This Allied Counties League Cup fixture saw the lads doing it the hard way as they were reduced to ten men when Joe Booth was penalised for a poor tackle with a straight red card early in the second half.
Becaye Jabbi had given the Woods an early lead but they hadn’t built on that at the time of the sending-off.
However, any concerns were put to bed when Aidan Tarrant headed home a second goal seven minutes later.
Michael Kelly, on as a substitute, added a third soon after and an emphatic-sounding 4-0 victory was completed by a Keelan Sweeney goal four minutes from time.
