Late goals saw the Woods slip to defeat in their final pre-season friendly this afternoon, when Isthmian League Premier Division Kingstonian edged out 4-2 winners at The Skyline Roofing Stadium.

Goals from Osa Otote and Luke Tingey gave Northwood the advantage before Kingstonian scored three times in the closing stages - whilst the home side had a late goal disallowed.

A good workout, nevertheless, ahead of next week's big kick-off, and plenty for the Northwood management to ponder before Corinthian-Casuals' visit next Saturday. The match report and photos are here.

There were two new signings joining the Northwood squad prior to Tuesday’s victory against National League Dagenham & Redbridge, with Harry McCorkell and Deago Dunbar Bonnie coming on board!

Harry McCorkell was at Combined Counties League outfit North Greenford United last season, and he previously spent six years at Harefield United; he partners up with brother Andy McCorkell, the Woods’ vice captain.

Deago Dunbar Bonnie signed from Southern Central side Kings Langley; the 20 year old full back also spent time on dual registration at Oxhey Jets last season.
